What is the highest qualification in Beauty Therapy?

Level 7 qualifications in aesthetics are available, however, they are generally restricted to those with medical backgrounds, and those who have already completed an undergraduate degree.

Level 4 & 5 qualifications are more accessible for those wishing to progress an established career in beauty therapy allowing you to offer a wider variety of treatments, such as laser tattoo removal and advanced blemish removal.

How do I grow my beauty business?

Qualifications such as the VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Salon Management allow you to become a salon manager.

Own business planning, finance, marketing and building business relationships with VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Set up a New Business

Teach others with VTCT Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. Providing you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to teach, and develop a range of personal qualities and attributes required for teaching, assessing and supporting learners.

 

What is the highest-paid job in the Beauty industry?

Some of the highest paying non-medical beauty roles are within the skincare and aesthetics fields. For many of these, you would be using specialised equipment and products for which you would need to be trained.

Of course, the beauty blogger/vlogger career is growing rapidly, with many new influencers appearing on the scene with tips on everything beauty related. Of course, this requires another kind of skill set altogether and it can take a long time to grow a community that could be lucrative for you. How do I set up my own beauty business?

The first thing to consider when starting your own business is your Business Plan. This will be your overall plan for how you will set up and run your business, including where it will be run, how it will be financed and your business goals.

From there, you will need to consider other factors including staffing, marketing, insurance, and product range to mention just a few.
