Debbie has over 22 years experience of working within the Further Education sector and is currently the Executive Director of Apprenticeships and Business Development of The Bedford College Group in the East Midlands. She has worked at a senior level in a number of colleges for the past ten years, including Director of Faculty (with cross-college accountability for Apprenticeships) at Milton Keynes College, plus Director of Apprenticeships at The Bedford College Group before taking on her most recent role at executive level heading up Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement on behalf of the Group.

Debbie is a non-executive Board Director at Aston Recruitment and Training Ltd and has gained significant experience in leading the apprenticeship operations for a number of mergers and acquisitions at Bedford College over the past five years which has made the college one of the largest successful college groups currently in the UK. Debbie has managed and led a wide breadth of vocational and academic areas of provision throughout her career in FE and also is a member of the UCAS Apprenticeships Advisory Group, whose purpose is to provide UCAS with a robust and representative voice on the subject of Apprenticeships to key stakeholders, providers, training providers and employers.
