The £53.91 million funding allocated by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to support 37,000 individuals through the new Adult Social Care Training and Development fund has unfortunately been paused during the General Election period.
Given the sector’s needs, VTCT has decided to go ahead with our new qualification launch as planned. It is hoped that the next government will recognise the importance and urgency of re-opening this funding as soon as possible.
