Level 2 Certificate in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy (AM20530)
To support tutors further in the next academic year, we have now introduced a series of free webinars. There are two types available - A General Best Practice Administration Guidance which includes practical support for uploading evidence and using the Linx2 system; and an Assessment Overview Workshop that will be hosted by VTCT Assessment Leads. Attendance is optional although VTCT would encourage a least one member of staff from centres delivering AM20530 to attend.
Dates, times and registration details can be found by clicking here.
Technical Level Qualifications - Establishing the Standard
VTCT is pleased to announce a series of ‘Establishing the Standard’ information sessions which will support the delivery and assessment of VTCT Technical Level Qualifications.
Establishing the Standard workshops will create an opportunity for centre staff to learn new skills-based grading principles, which can be applied in the assessment of both Graded Practical Assessments (mandatory units) and the Graded Synoptic Assessment at the end of the course.
Centre staff will also have the opportunity to gain information, advice and guidance on the logistical and practical requirements of VTCT Tech Levels, covering topics such as assessment planning, examination windows, scheduling and the resource documents and webinars available to support these qualifications.
Timings: 10:00am- 3:30pm (with a break for lunch)
- Qualification requirements
- Graded Practical Assessments (analytical grading)
- Graded Synoptic Assessments (holistic grading)
- External examination requirements
